“This ability to blend brutality and raw emotion has become Poor Bambi 's signature , as they continually push the boundaries of their savage and visceral noise rock.”
Emerging from Norway’s oil capital Stavanger, Poor Bambi cuts straight to the bone and delivers an explosive mix of noise rock and punk. Fueled by energy, spontaneity, and emotional depth, Poor Bambi delivers live shows that are a collision of controlled frustration and total devotion to the music, and continues to establish itself as a must-see band on the alternative music scene.
“...the band combines punk brutality with an intelligent melodic approach, creating an intense sound that spans a wide emotional spectrum. With constant touring, releases, and international acclaim, Poor Bambi has established itself as a must-see band on the alternative scene.”

The first single, “Midtown Madness” from the upcoming debut album “Skyscrapers Soaring, Yet We’re Drowning”, (set for release on February 6, 2026, via Apollon Records) has already drawn international praise, with critics highlighting the band’s signature blend of aggression and melodic intelligence:
“I love how, leading to the song's conclusion, the performer pauses, culminating in a sonic assault that overwhelms the senses. This occurs at 2:05, where the instruments reach their peak, simulating a battle; this section is a truly spectacular experience. ”
“The epically alternative mix you're about to discover in Rockola Indie will undoubtedly take over every corner of your ears, as it's a production that impressively combines Punk and Shoegaze nuances, creating a fresh and impactful high-level production where the track's fabulous energy will become a burst of euphoric sensations you can't miss!”
Poor Bambi, consisting of Sarah Hestness (vocals/guitar), Espen Eidem (guitar), and Simen Amundrud (drums), has left their mark both in Norway and internationally. The band has previously completed two Norway tours, played festivals such as Jærnåttå, Fjellparkfestivalen and performed in New York. They have released a number of singles, including “Business or Pleasure” and “Colours Does Not Exist”, produced by Nicholas Sansano (Sonic Youth, Public Enemy) which internationally has been described as:
“ Poor Bambi is a study of brilliant contrasts—a traditional yet innovative power trio, simultaneously loose and precise, technical yet raw, driven by both melodious song and sonics. The contradictions add up to a broad narrative that is deeply satisfying. Is it business or is it pleasure? It’s both, it just depends on what you need.”
